The opening reception for BLOSSOM at the Old Print Gallery was a lot of fun. I had interesting conversations with new folks and reconnected with others that I have met at other gallery openings. The Old Print Gallery is charming and intimate with a gracious director and gallery staff. I particularly enjoyed the combination of contemporary and antique printmaking, a melding of past and present approaches to this form of art. It was a pleasure to be one of the participating artists in this show honoring the DC cherry blossoms. I was also delighted that we were able to find street parking near the gallery without a problem on a beautiful Friday evening. Check it out for yourself. This show continues until May 11, 2012.
