Marian Osher L.E.S. Echoes at ARTIFACT in Lower East Side

A lively and varied group of people mingled at the reception for Marian Osher L.E.S. Echoes at ARTIFACT at the opening reception on October 7.

It is not too late to see this exhibition, which continues through Sunday October 25, 2015. ARTIFACT is open to the public Wednesday thru Sunday, from 12 to 6 pm. It is located at 84 Orchard Street in Lower East Side, just a short walk from the subway (FJMZ) at Delancey Street and Essex.

ARTIFACT is pleased to announce a solo exhibition of new mixed-media paintings by Marian Osher. An opening reception for the artist will take place on Wednesday October 7, from 6 to 8 PM. The exhibition will be on view from October 7 through October 25, 2015.

Marian Osher’s paintings invite the viewer to reflect upon the memories, stories, industry and foods that echo the ethnic diversity and cultures that have shaped the Lower East Side. The changing landscape of L.E.S. fortunately still retains visible reminders which are today’s footprints of the past. (more…)
